The Fast-track scheme for companies

The Fast-track scheme is for companies that regularly recruit employees from countries outside the EU/EEA. Once the company is certified by SIRI, it can submit applications for its employees itself, and processing is typically faster than for ordinary applications.

Requirements for certification

• The company has at least 10 full-time, permanent employees
• Salary and terms of employment meet Danish standards
• The company has attended SIRI's mandatory online guidance meeting
• The company is not affected by a lawful labour dispute
• There are no outstanding orders from the Danish Working Environment Authority
• The company complies with the Aliens Act and has not received fines above the set limits

Certification costs DKK 6,810, is valid for 4 years and can be renewed. Processing time is normally 2 months and up to 3 months.

The five tracks in Fast-track

• The pay limit track – salary of at least DKK 552,000 per year (2026). Normally 1 month.
• The supplementary pay limit track – salary of at least DKK 446,000, advertising on Jobnet and EURES and unemployment of no more than 3.75%. Normally 2 months.
• The short-term track – stays of no more than 90 days within 365 days. No pay limit.
• The researcher track – for researchers where there are research-related reasons for hiring this particular person.
• The educational track – for highly qualified people who are to receive or provide training.

The fee is DKK 6,810 per application in 2026. The employee's family can apply for residence as accompanying family members.

New scheme for companies with collective agreements from 2027

A new scheme has been adopted for certified companies with collective agreements, which is scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027. We are following the final rules and are happy to advise on what they mean for your recruitment.
